There is so much I can say about this subject and I have written about it before here. I have a love/hate relationship with alcohol. There is nothing like a glass of wine when you get home from a stressful day. Nothing like a martini when out with friends.
But it’s all stopped and I’m glad.
I now have an ‘excuse’ not to drink. It’s really quite amazing how uncomfortable people are when you’re not drinking and they are. At the moment I don’t put myself in social situations where I am expected to drink.
I don’t feel bloated when I wake up, nor do I have a hangover from the night before and I know it’s the reason a major contributing factor of why I have lost weight since starting this program.
So watch me drink my ‘fake’ G&T’s (soda, lime and loads of ice) as I make my way through the silly season.
