On being hungry

Me in Miami circa 2003

I have to tell you something.  I AM REALLY HUNGRY.  I actually don’t think I have felt hunger like this.  It’s a deep belly hunger that is strangely pleasant.  Even when I was on Weight Watchers I never really felt this.  I visualise the fat being eaten up my body.  Using it as energy because it no longer has sausage rolls or glasses of wine to tap into anymore.

That is a great image.

I suppose being on 600 – 700 calories a day will do that to you.  I cannot wait for it to end, but I cannot wait to greet my body again.  The body I am use to having.  The one I have managed to cover up with 30kgs of extra fat for the past 6-7 years.

The one that is ready to experience life again.
