New week, new fridge

week two - contents of my fridge

I finally did a huge shop today and I must say that I am rather proud of myself.  I am setting up week two to be successful.  Like I keep reading, “it’s all in the planning”.  Lot’s of already made salads, some lean chicken, veal, fish and my favourite, cape seed loaf.  One slice of that and I am full for hours.  I have that for breakfast in the morning with three egg-whites.  I love egg-whites.  A left over from living in America for so long.

My boyfriend has gone away on business and I don’t think he will be home for a week or so. I cannot wait to see him again and have him notice how hard I have been working on my eating plan.  He is a great support and is coming along on this journey with me.

Tomorrow is my first weigh-in.  I must admit I am a little nervous, especially after my weekend of alcohol.  But I have a long journey ahead of me and I know that I will get there.

  1. Hi Carolyn, just read a post by you over on ww.com so thought I’d come and take a look at your blog. I’ve just started on weight watchers again as well (online), so it’ll be great following your blog. Looks like you have things in order and now its just time to watch the weight come off 🙂
